tedsters,Sounds like you have a few problems.  That error message should have been created by Dr.Watson w/in the OS.  Looks like the bootsector might be corrupted or it might be a bad disk spot at the boot which is causing the corruption.  That can be corrected but I think you need to do a complete re-format(low-Level) of the HD and re-install Windows and all of your programs.  Also d/l a free registry cleaner and after you install the programs clean up the registry.
